1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains what WealthGuard ("we") collects when you use yourwealthprotection.com and its applications, how we use it, and the choices you have. We designed the platform to keep your information encrypted and isolated to your own account.
2. Information we collect
Account information (name, email) via secure sign-in. Interview information you provide to prepare your matter, which may include sensitive financial and family details (assets, income, parenting arrangements). Documents and evidence you upload. Payment status (we do not store full card numbers — payments are handled by Stripe). Basic technical/usage data needed to run and secure the Service.
3. How we use information
To provide the Service: run your guided interview, calculate readiness, assemble your package, process payments, and, if you purchase it, route materials for attorney review. To secure, maintain, and improve the platform. To communicate with you about your account. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Storage and security
Data is stored in Amazon Web Services (US). Documents and artifacts are encrypted at rest with AWS KMS and in transit with TLS, and are isolated to your tenant. Access is restricted and download links are short-lived. No system is perfectly secure, but we apply industry-standard safeguards.
5. Service providers
We share information only with providers that help us run the Service, under contract: Amazon Web Services (hosting, storage, authentication via Cognito), Stripe (payments), and, where used, automated document/OCR processing. Independent licensed attorneys receive your materials only if you purchase attorney review. We do not share your interview data with social platforms; our TikTok integration is used only to publish our own marketing videos from our own account and never accesses your data.
6. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated data (subject to records we must retain by law).
7. Your choices and rights
You may access, correct, or delete your information, and request a copy, by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA. We will honor verified requests as required by law.
8. Cookies
We use only the cookies and local storage necessary to keep you signed in and operate the Service. We do not use third-party advertising trackers on the application.
9. Children
The Service is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy; material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
